yeah i know i shoulda had it replaced by now but seeing as i dont have a job im taking some cash from my savings account and it takes 2 weeks, anyway i was looking at the tyre today and i cant beleive how much it has worn compared too the front tyre.. is this normal?

Yep! Rear tyres wear at about 2/3 quicker than the front. You need 1mm across 3/4 of the tyre breadth of the tyre and in a continuous band around the tyre.

As long as your tyre still shows some sign of a tread pattern its ok with a scooter isn't it?

Can be under 1 mm as long as the tread pattern is clearly visible. Although for safety and avoiding punctures its best not to let it get this low. Very handy to know if a copper stops you and measures it under a mil and says its illegal. You can then have the great pleasure of telling him to stick his ticket where the sun dont shine #thumbs_up#

dunno the speedo cables gone too if i was to guess id say about 4000/5000 about 500 of those it was underinflated, cant really complain i suppose but once bloody liv victoria pay me my own bloody money im gonna stick a set of michelin S1's on it

Nice tyres those S1's got one on the back of the aerox but has a pirelli on the front. Got to get the lad a jacket this weekend and he has his cbt coming up very soon

yea ally read my other post : ( i feel like going crazy! i do 50-60 miles a day on my scoot so its well used. i jst love the scoot to bits but i gta now customize parts for it i think to get it working : (

the aerox sorted out now? Nearly got to get a reg/rec for it checked it out and it was putting 18 volts ac into the battery and it should be about 11 to 14 volts dc #thumbs_up#

ve had to "customize my inidicators too, i reversed into a fence once and broke them but managed to glue it together
and bads
18 volts is pretty high wouldnt think the dyno would churn that much out :S
