Does anyone know where i can source an indicator switch from the l/h side as mine has decided to only work while keeping it held in position (not latching!). The Company i bought the scoot from has gone bust so i cannot get one through them %^£%$£
Also i have a slight problem with the starter motor in that it does not always engage first time when the starter switch is pressed it makes a whining sound. The starter works fine and spins freeely off the scoot. I have cleaned the shaft and gear up and fitted it back both dry and lubed. It is definately a problem with the shaft/gear not engaging/disengaging. Anybody got any ideas?

well if you think there maybe a gearing problem have a look at your clutch and see what the shoes and springs are like. The starter motor might just be like that when its cold or something but im not too sure as im not too familiar with the 4-stroke engine/electrics Im going to find a match for the indicator switches now. so bare with me.

I would try again with the rubber fix, i used a thicker bit and then did not tighten up the grip fully. Instead turning the screws until the thing worked, no problems since

Can you post a pic of your switch. In position on the handlebar is fine. It's probably like a Honda one. All Chinese bikes use these. I repaired my Chunlans switches with ones from a Honda SH50.

Sorry m8 how do i post a pic of my switch? You either need to set yourself up with a Photobucket or Imageshack online photo album (very useful on here anyway!) or google up a pic. You cant upload a pic from your computer straight onto the internet. It has to be website>website. Is the switch a sort of rectangular shape, but with one end sloping?
