I have a small problem which I hope is not just me being thick. On my new Baotian BT50QT-9N to get to the battery compartment I need to lift the rubber matting, however in trying to do so all I have managed to do so far is rip off two of the holding lugs. Even the most gentle of pressure causes the lugs to tear away from the mat. Is there a secrete to this, how do I get to the battery compartment?

same thing happened to my lugs.
I'm using high strength velcro strip - you can get it in any hardware store - got mine in a roll from Homebase.
