Hi, I've bought a new QT50, but the front wheel needs assembling; the scooter didn't have any manual and I don't have a clue how to begin! Can anyone provide an easy step by step buide for a clueless newbie like me???

another one of these scary" I don't know how to fit the wheel" posts. With all due respect if you are not mechanically competent then take the bike to a garage and let them do it. You don't want to find out you got it wrong while doing 30mph along a busy road...

It is a lot less difficult theny you might think. The wheel goes between the forks. Mine had a spacer that went between the wheel & the left fork. Then the big bolt slides through the forks & wheel. (That takes a bit of wiggling) Then the nut goes on the bolt. The only sticking point can be the brakes. If you have disc brakes then you have to take care easing the rotor in between the brake pads. You may have to push the brake cylinder in a bit to make it happen. Good luck!

In thinking more about it. I did not know ANYTHING about scooters when I bought mine in September. But after consulting the fine folks here I overcame my minor difficulties. Scooters are way less complicated than cars, & quite easy to work on. I highly recomend downloading the service manuals, they are excellant. (Look on the sidebar on the main page.) Let us know how you make out on the wheel.
