well it starts and moves!
don't like the amount of play/wobble in the handlebars, so am trying to remove the handlebar bolt to fit the other way round - currently have the nut at the front However, for some reason it is near impossible to undo - odd since I put it on!

well that was hard work, but got there in the end.
can you remember when you put yours together:-
there is a rubber tube that seems to go on the steering column. I'm assuming this fits on the outside of the handlebar and steering stem when you drop the handlebars into position?
Also, the stem from the handlebars that drops into the steering stem is not a tight fit, hence, the wobble/play I get - do you have this?

thingy up! I'm pretty sure (dark memory of similar quandry) that silver thingy is a shaped bush that fits on the front of the steering bolt, the bolt fits from the back (15mm head), thro' the bars, put on silver thingy, then nut (13mm or 14mm, can't remember). Your bars will be rock solid without overtightening if it's all fitted right.
