OK folks. Bought my scoot begining of January. Road tax stared 01/02. Been in garage twice. First time kick start jammed in the up position. Second time it dropped and would not go up. Now the left caseing has decided to crack.....
I am not looking for help here for once, but some info. Have these problems happened to any of you or is this a first? Scoot is a Chituma 50cc. Thanks for your imput guys and gals.

Sorry for the double post folks. Totally forgot I had made the first one. Let this be a lesson children. Just say no to strong alcohol.

I have read of this problem on other forums. It would seem to be a bit of a weak point. There are a couple of sellers on ebay that do parts for the scooters, just do a search for 'Jinlun' or Baotian parts. Alternativley you could try the place in the USA where I got my cam chain. They can be found at this link. store2.partsforscooters.com/

All I orderd was a Timing chain. The chain and postage came to £12.45!
They have a set postage for items weighing under 1lb, $7.95 (@£4.70)
Not arrived as yet, ordered it 28th Feb.
I expect it to take around 2 weeks, I usually does from USA
