The cdi on that site sounds funky Yeah, actually, the cdi for the 125 scooters and the 50cc scooters look the same. I wonder if the 125 cdis on scooterassassin's ebay will work well with our scoots.

This guy notoriously doesn't email back, but I think they are the same. How fast did the jets come in?

It took three weeks to arrive. He has in the past returned my emails when I started getting nervous about how long my shipment was taking .

I've got one on my BT125 T9, it was around £20 and arrived quickly. I've had it fitted for around 3 weeks.
I have been VERY happy with it, the bike has a far better delivery of power mid range, it is much smoother and idles better, so the electronic setup is very good.
Although it's unlimited, the gearing on the scooter means that I don't actually get a higher top speed, but it appears that I get to the top speed quicker.(50mph to 60 mph flat or slight uphill) downhill I achieved a higher speed, but I don't really feel comfortable that fast anyway.
I think that I am using about the same amount of fuel as before (if any difference it's marginal) so I'm happy there too as I think that the fuel tank on the Scoot is a little too small anyway as I need to fill up each week and I would prefer to put more in but stop less.
Fitting it was around 2 mins, and the bike started first time.
I'm keeping the old CDI just in case, as I assume that they are not cheap to get a replacement, but it's a Honda GY6 one anyway so they should be easy to get, just expensive.
The interesting thing is that the original one, as supplied by Baotian, is stamped GY6, so I'm really sure that these are the right type.
Any one else who tries one, please let us know if you feel the same.
