NONONO, hahaha, they are for the mirrors. The fit over the end of the screw and slide into the molding on the handlebars for a sleeker fit. I used to have them on mine, but I took the mirrors off because they didn't do anything.

The mirrors on UK scooters are not the same, they have a cover built in, and the two rubber bungs above are different shapes, if they were a pair, I would have expected them to be symmetrical.
The one on the left is cone shaped, and the one on the right is dome shaped. Any further offers?

no they are def for the wheel nuts, the mirror ones have got holes in them so that the mirror fits through them !!!!! trust me , just try them on the wheels an let me know that im right. the cone one you have to fold back on itself slightly to make it fit over the nut .

It's a nut and bolt on my Baotian front wheel, but even if the ends are of different sizes, the designer would have made sure any cappings would match both sides, not one dome shaped, and one cone shaped, it just does not make sense.

So........... Did we ever find out what these were for? ;D I phoned the supplier, and they are to glue onto the tyres when it has been snowing. The domed one goes on the front wheel, and the cone goes on the back, (for better grip). These should only be used in deep snow, and removed as soon as the snow thaws, or they could affect the stability of the scooter.
