on the 6th it was the BT125T-2 that he had just got, by the 7th it turned into the BT49QT-7 that he asked for a manual for (which I sent him), today it's back to being a 125 just a bit strange (maybe just me?)..........

Still, I hope people found the Valve Bounce thing useful.
I notice on mine that, just before I hit valve bounce, the bike really feels like it has loads more to give, then valve bounce occurs.
I assume that the engines are designed for the power band to be near to red line, so that the variator can have maximum power as the ratio changes up.
Perhaps some stronger valve springs would be quite good.

Oh, and also, the BT125-t2 pictures I found, show that it DOES have a rev counter!!

max power (50/125/150) is produced between 7000-8000 RPM, my red line goes from 8000-10000 valve damaging territory.............

I have only said it was a 125 sorry about the ID BT49QT-7 thats what it said on the side of the bike but sticker is wronge thanks.
