Hello to everyone.
I am new to this site but have already found it very useful.
I recently bought a BT50QT-11 retro scooter and I am very impressed with it. I followed the derestriction guides on this site and was very careful not to damage or lose any parts (the instructions were very good and easy to follow).
However, I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. Having derestricted the scooter it now has a "flat spot" on acceleration about mid way through the range. This translates into a cough when already moving.
Are there any further adjustments (ie mixture) that can be done? I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks

Flat spot is there when setting off (fully open throttle) and at about 25 mph when cruising, when you twist for a little bit more!

Basically it starts to move away from a standing start normally, then struggles for a second, and then seems to pick up and go. When cruising at 25-30mph and you twist to go faster it hesitates before it does what you ask it to.

Be careful! #no_no# a little goes a long way on that fuel mixture screw. Try moving it very small increments. Once you break the factory seal on that screw be prepared to keep tweaking it peiodically.
