Hi all, Just finished putting my Baotian BT50QT-9 together and looking forward to getting 2 wheels back on the road. I've not ridden since I was 18, I had a Honda MT-5 in those days. I'm in the last few weeks of my thirties so it was a long time ago. It's nice to read that I'm not the only person this age going back to a 50cc machine.

I'm new to scooterin' and will be 36 next birthday. I am enjoying every minute on my scooter (BT125T-2). Still running in so not doing much more than 30mph at present and think I will be scared to go much faster when I can. #sleep#

Anyone want to do a 'oldest member' competition just for fun? I'm 51. Fell in love with scooters aged 14 when I learned to ride a Lambretta LD150 in a field! Hope I never 'Grow up'. Ted.

Guy's it a geely JL50qt 139qmb 50cc base. 80cc jug The manuals on your teck link are the same for my scoot and the T==== & B=====. Mods as follows: spark iridium air box removed replaced with a free flow filter(if you go the free flow way make sure you get a rain coat for it. It a treated cloth that air pass easy but the road goo no go easy off and clean it also use a good filter oil. re jet a must if you use the free flow Change both low speed and hi speed up one step. carb is the same as yours Keihin CVK type 50 18mm venturi. low speed was 0.035mm or #35 changed to .038mm #38 Hi sp 0.085mm #85 changed to 0.088mm #88 change roller weight to 34 --36 Not trying for high speed I want to smoke some of the fat heads with their fake sport cars/ so working on 45+ in less than 12 seconds hoping for under 10. Scoots in port ti Rico are doing the quarter mile in 6.5 seconds. RC
