We all know that 50cc bikes are pretty heavily restricted to bring them in line with British law.
Does anyone know if 125 bikes restricted in any way? I'm only asking because I was chatting to a bike mechanic recently who mentioned that Large Hondas (750cc+) used to have washers in their exhaust pipes when new which brought them into line with UK noise/power regs. These washers would strangely "disappear" at the 1st service, unleashing a little more power. The exhaust on my baron is as thin as a rat's willy, and will certainly be replaced when it/thewarranty wears out. I wondered whether there may be any other restrictions that anyone knows about?
I'm not intending to go drag racing but if there was another (say) 5mph in the bike for free it would be nice to have it.

Only 1 restrictor on my Sukida 125T3, a square tube inside the air box, slide-in fitting, so can go back in in required. Seemed to add to mid-range pulling power when taken out. My bike will go to 65 MPH. (110 kms), the belt would be at its max. on the variator pully, so I'm not looking for any more top speed, and it found more mid-range as it broke in past the 750kms marks, so I'm quite happy with it.
