Ok guys. Here goes once again. i have compression gas and a spark. Although the spark seems a bit weak. I cant get it started. Im leaning towards a weak spark. i put in new ngk plugs and the valves are done right. tried starting it all day, the only thing that i can come come up with right now is a weak spark .what would cause this the cdi ? any help would be great. Im darn near end witts end garbage can is next Bill

You could try opening the plug gap very slightly. If its too small the spark won't be large enought to ignite the fuel. If its an electrical fault, the coil is a more likely candidate than the CDI unit. Check that the HT lead is connected properly to the plug cap, and the coil, and that the thin wires leading to the coil are on tightly.

check the fly wheel look at raised square make sure this is not rusted giving a poor connection to the pick up coil
