Tht would be the lighter rollers you put in. They increase acceleration at the expense of top speed

but i put in the old rollers and still the same? and they were heavier ones.

hmmmm Good question. The rollers would have been the first guess. You might have a look at the high speed jet in the carb, It could have some crud in it. Or check your air filter.

i put a free flow air filter on, ive up rated the main jet to bigger one and ive changed the oil and plug and the rollers, just dosent want to go past 40 mph but others with this model have got faster speeds, doing the same things, cud it have anything to do with the cdi unit? my does go up to 8000 rpms though at 40 mph, would be happy if i could jet get 45 - 50 mph.

Good question-I have no experience with free flow filters. Ally1756,Hypojam or Billygreen1973 would be good people to ask about that. You should be able to get at least 45mph. Not sure about 50. My scoot is totally stock & went 45mph straight out of the crate.(They don't restrict scoots here)

my freeflow was crap, made my performance rubbish and made a horrid noise, if its not revving past 8,000 then i think ure CDI is restricted, however try it with the airbox for a while if its still the same change back to the freeflow and change your CDI for a sports one ally

will allow the rev to go higher and look around at different ones as they alll haev different connectors, cehck your scoots one before u buy one as some have a single block connection and soem have a 2 block connection ally

min is a 2 block connection but if the revs go past 8000 rpm that means it will go into the red isnt that babd for the engine?
