hello i have just recently bought a xinling 50qt-b 4 stroke. it is restricted at 28-30mph. i was wondering if you could tell me where i could find the restrictors. i have checked the carb for the brass screw and it isnt there :S, i have also looked for the washer in the variator that isnt there either, i have been told a few places where they could be but so far they are not there. i am starting to wonder if it has already been derestricted because nothing seems to be in its place. i havent had my scooter out on the roads yet because i need insurance. it is a 06 model brand new. 0 miles on the clock.
IF ANY1 COULD TELL ME WHERE TO FIND THEM I WILL BE VERY VERY GRATEFUL !! thanks

hiy, iv'e got the same bike, almost the same as baotian. I did change the rollers for 4.4g, that changed the acceleration significantly. changed the jet for 90 no major difference but still driving on it. (tried 96 too). took of the reverberator(I think that is what it is called, two nuts to take off, one way air valve with tube running back to carb and seems to interfear negativelly with intake air flow) from the outside point of the exhaust and plugged it with chemical metal, which has helped. Also just disconnect the air intake pipe to the carb and fit a freeflow air filter £4.50 of ebay. Im getting 40ish out of it with me 14st and my 12 yr old daughter on it, doing the weekend run. I am going to try shortening the variator face boss next to try to get a higher top end, as you noticed its one piece without removable washer so im going to chop it, and use a spacer washer to fill it again if it doesnt work. One word. dont take lightly the oil changes. the engines REALLY NEED IT. i do mine every 300k, 0.9l of oil is about 1.50, pennies. the first few oil changes had filthy oil coming out each time, and at 1500k the oil is finally starting to stay clean/healthy longer. Last thing I want to try is finding a new cdi unit. Though there is no pink wire and only 5 of them it does seem restricted some how, theres no where near 8000 revs that I here being reported by others. if you get any hints on tweeks please post thwm under xinling, so i can use them. many thanks. kevkeo

ok m8 ive got some info back from a m8 on the xinling. there is a pink and green wire hidden underneath the plastics on the right hand side above the exhaust. (to see this lie on the floor and look up) disconnect those. also the exhaust take off the metal thing attacted to it and there is a metal pipe with a hole in still left there. block it off and remove the long rubber wire that leads into it. i did them both and i am getin 48mph+ out of myn on a small strate. havent had it out on a long as im not insured yet haha. i am getting my rollers this week. 4.1 from www.beedspeed.com. also is buying the jet for these a waste of time and getin a freeflow air filter? cheers-- peter
