Morning all, I wonder if you can help. My Boatian BT Q50 scooter has been running badly recently. When I am going along and open the throttle it hessitates then goes and it has been cutting out loads when coming to a stop. You can only start it by hitting the electric start with no throttle at all otherwise it dies again. It has done 1000km, is derestricted and has had the naff sparkplug changed.
Any ideas??
Thanks

Hi there Zloog ( if ever a name cried out to have the word 'Dawg'' inserted after it, it's yours zloog!) #bling#
Anyway, sounds as if it may be a similar situation as my scoot, your description is eerily similar.
I posted my requst for info yesterday under the ??Scoot Keeps Stalling For a Second?? thread and - quelle surprise- it looks as if the valve clearances need looking at, there's plenty of info on this in previous posts so search through - there's even a picture guide, isn't there?...I hope so, I'll need it!
Welcome aboard , anyway....................................................dawg

Cheers for the info guys! I hope it is the valve clearance as it is getting really bad. I was stuck at some traffic lights yesterday trying ot get it going!
To anyone who has done this, is it tricky?
