Baotian BT49QT-3 25KM/h When I looked at all the stuff I got from here it looked great and I was ready to derestrict the next day. Opening up though the wired looked very different and the pink wire I wanted to cut was already loose (unplugged) it has a female-plug form but I see nothing that was attached to this. Can it be that Baotian has changed it's wiring plans or my stupid seller changed the wires himself, or...? I called him and all he could do was trying to pee me of and get angry telling me the guarantee would be of if I touched it. I don't expect any from him anyway. I have made a few photo's from where I took out the buddy-seat. Maybe someone still has a clue what to do. - Also I would like some help about what kind of errr... rollers I need, if a newbie can install those. What kind of exhaust etc all things to make it a little faster but not very loud sounding in the end. Thanks a million! My scooter has been restricted to exact 25KM/h. It's starting to get a bit annoying now. (I dont know if its possible or if I get to add a picture in here) [/img]

Are you sure you are looking at the right wire/plug? Some bikes dont have the pink wire anyway, they are restricted by carb, exhaust and other methods. Are you old enough BY LAW to ride an unrstricted bike, if not and you know its restricted to your licence and insurance entitlement why did you buy it. Your dealer is quite within his rights to void the warranty if to change it from the purpose as to what it was sold, as is the insurance company to void any claims you bring or are brought against you, and Mr plod to relieve you of a few quid and put points on your licence if you change the bikes performance beyond your licence entitlement, so dont blame them. As for your rollers, all the info you could need is in the engine sections.

I'm 37 years old and all I want is for my moped to run like 40KM/h instead of 25KM/h. Can you tell me how to put a picture in here? Otherwise I'll make a link to it later.
And I don't care for guarantees. Companies hardly give any guarantees and the guy who I bought it from isnt exactly the friendly one, all sales. I have to smack my light before it operates and he didn't want to fix it. Said to me to buy a new lamp, but that's not the case. Something seems to be not connecting, I don't know yet.
The wire I'm talking about is a really light pink colored one. It has already been disconnected or left disconnected. I'm looking for the 25KM/h to pull up a little faster and maybe drive a little faster in the end. But now it's both slow pulling up and drives max of 26KM/h. Thanks for replying.

I have the same with mine, pink wire is unplugged, but CDI is still restricted (ignites every 2nd or 4th spark).
Apparently noone in here knows how to derestrict it, so you cant do much beside buying a new CDI without restrictions.

its always gonna ignite every 2nd or 4th spark, theres nothing to ignite on the others thats why its a 4 stroke engine

Ok. your bike is extremly sick if its only reaching 25kmh it shoul reach 50kmh standard. firstly service it and see if there is anything wrong or if there is anything you notice (corroded exhaust etc). make sure its all runing standard first. then open your transmission cover take the front half of the variator off and look to see if there is a spacer. if there is simply take it out and reasemble. the CDi is probably already been done so forget that one and look at one of the de-restriction guides on here. they are all the same matey ;D

My scooter is brand new. It had 0 distance on the counter when I bought it.
The QT-3 is the one they sell going 25KM/h as it should because of the laws.
But after a while you just might want to go a little faster than that. 35 would be already very great. But if I buy a bigger carb, spray, rollers or whatever and it would still be restricted to the 25KM/h or burn far more fuel than it should because of restrictions getting a higher speed; that would suck!
(btw is tire pressure 2.2bar?)
