is there another way to drain oil

not really.

Try unscrewing it with the engine hot. The oil will run out quicker too.

get a set of vice grips onto it, u must have put the wrong size socket /spanner on or you must have turned it the wrong way :S

can i put like a sucker down the dip stick and suck it out that way then refill it mick

presuming you mean the engine oil, NO!!!!!It has to drain as, 1 it clears all the tiny grains of dust that is grinding away at your engine, and 2, you need to get the strainer out to clean it. Unfortunatley there is no short cut. Why are you having so much trouble with the gear box? Brian Cannel has told me he has offered to come out to help you.

yea he offerd to come and help when the bike wouldnt even start but i fixed that i dont think he likes me any more though he dunt speak to me theares nuffin wrong with the gera box its just people say you need gear box oil and i dont no if mine has any mick

Gearbox oil does not burn off like engine oil, it wont disappear but it will need changing as the treacle like substance these Chinese use defo needs to be got rid of. There are guides in hints tips & diy, and its easy, just replace it with EP 90 gear oil, probably about 100cc's, so a bottle will last you ten changes! Cheap at half the price!
