My BT50QT-9 as just done a 1000 k's and I have started to notice a slight whirring sound when it gets to 15mph and upward. I think it may be coming from the speedo cable. Does that sound right and what sort of lubrictaion if any do they need.

Gave you another Karma Andy, droped some gear oil into the cable and noise went away. Must get into the habit of doing it every 1000 and perhaps that will keep the problems away. Done my first 1000 today so engine and gear box oil changed and rear brake adjusted. They are so easy to work on these little bikes I think they are great value for the money. The local sea gulls do too they craped all over it whilst it was in the drive ****
