Following my derestrict yesterday the BT50QT-N is still going like a dream. This afternoon dashing up a hill at 30mph and then going 50+ on the straight. However I would be grateful for a view re the following. I have noticed that once I get to 40 (which I could do before the derestrict) that I get a vibration coming through the floor. I have also noticed that the engine pitch seems to have changed. When it is on its stand and running I can, if I get up close, hear a tap tap sound. Since my performance is very good I assume the valves are OK and that this is normal. I am also assuming that the other stuff is a reflection of the increased power being released by the engine and by the fact that at 600k it is now all starting to loosening up nicely. Does that all make sense or do I need to investigate a possible problem

tap tap tap sounds like tappets
depending on how bad the tapping is i'd check them you might loose some speed but save the life of your scoot
