I got a reply today! Seems as if he gets so many emails that he does not answer them. He just skims them through. What I did was email him directly, not using the form on his page. I had a subject saying "Where is my ordered part !!??". His reply was that he read my email cause it stood out... Conclusion: If you want your emails answered, do not use the form on the page. Make a subject that stands out from the rest.
Oh yeah, the part should be shipped. Atleast that's what the mail says.

He Lives in Taipei, hence the name Taipei Scooter Assasins. He only lives in Torquay a few months of the year. On another note, I've never had problems with shipping from him. Just lucky I suppose.

I was expecting a package from the UK, since I had to pay the part with GBP. I also had the impression that the homepage is located somewhere in the UK.
I didn't have a problem with the delivery. It took two weeks and a coupple of days for me to get it after the payment. I think this is quite good. The only "problem" was that I never got any kind of confirmation. To me it seemed as if I handed out my money into a black hole for these two weeks. My only complaint is that he could answer his emails a little more often.

PROBLEMS! I Ordered a "50cc to 80cc" kit. This is an excellent description because mine is 72cc. Lucky huh, guess some people got a 51cc kit. Anyway it's taken one month & 2 days to come.
Quality looks good but the circlips for the gudgeon pin are missing. I'm not going to get them in the next few days am I. The gudgeon pin is 13mm, can I source these items locally? Can I use my originals? I'm dissapointed.

80cc kit arrived today took 12 days, circlips missing. Good quality castings and piston ring gaps ok. Not bad value at £26.95 + post

To those about to fit an "80cc" kit. The original pin clips will be fine, you may find the new ones already fitted to the new piston (thats where mine were). VERY IMPORTANT!! The new head gasket may be too thick. Mine was, and after running the bike with the kit and thick gasket for just 10 miles, I needed a new cam chain (big job to replace!!). I ended up using the old gasket with perfect results and no problems. The difference is this.. The new one will be fibre with a steel ring in the centre and be around 1.5mm thick. The Original gasket will be all steel and be around 0.3mm thick. The 1.2mm difference placed extra tension on the cam chain by extending the combustion chamber. Also you would do well to download the service manual to see how to correctly install the piston rings. Let us all know how you go fellas

Thanks Billy
The headgasket supplied with mine is all steel .28mm thick. He must have changed his supplier or he has read about your problem!
The Scootdawg website has pictorial description about fitting big bore kits.
The honda C70 scooter had the same bore and stroke as these it may even be the same piston etc. The 72cc engine was fitted to various models and produced between 4.5 and 7.5 BHP.
