Having Problems with the engine not revving high enough It seems as though between the 15-25 mph speed range the engine is has totally lost all of its power and revs extremely low Its been like this nearly all of its life and its really starting to bother me Any help in fixing this problem is appreciated

Have you seen the topic about the air-box pipe? Maybe it's that?

i have tried it with that other air filter and without an airfilter and it was the same with both, i think it might be a clutch issue but i really dont know

Throttle cable sticking perhaps? I've heard the throttle cables are a bit of a sore subject on Taishans.

wouldn't be something to do with the engine or exhaust valves ? These can narrow as an engine beds in from new (or can have been set wrong in the first place) which can limit the top speed and can also casue starting problems.

i can still reach 45mph, 0-15mph speed range the bike is quick. 15-25mph speed range the engine just looses all engine revs. 25-45mph speed range all the power and revs comes back and the bike is quick, i think it could just be a clutch problem.
