The QMI engine is definatly the Honda GY6 clone, coupled with either a long or short drive, hence the different size belts. the QMB seems to be avaliable either as 2 or 4 stroke amd appears to be the Yamaha clone as far as I can tell. Both clones are avaliable in 50, 125, 150 and I think 250. There is also a Chinese 250 liquid cooled out there too, I have seen it on Sukida, but whats its a copy of I dont know. Ithink you can find more on the chinese Bation site.

Hi ally, I've undertaken two return trips of 47 miles each on my BT50QT-9 including riding through a busy town. The only difference between riding a 50cc and a larger capacity machine is that the journey will take a little longer. I've actually covered 525 miles [844km] in just over three weeks. Brian

Not at all, I ride a scooter by choice, my journeys are mainly for pleasure. Back in the late sixties/early seventies I would ride from Harlow, Essex to Caernarfon, North Wales...a distance of 240 miles in one day on a Triumph T10 [98cc auto scooter], I've also ridden a Yamaha V50 fro Essex to Somerset 140 miles. Like I said previously the only difference between a 50cc scooter and a larger bike is that it takes longer to complete the journey. Have faith in your scooter!!
